Only Snoop’s arrogance would let him assume his forwardness would work with Lucy. Better to have skated with her just a little back and taking her lead to win her over before getting to the sweetie part. For now, he has his toboggan sleeping bag to keep him company.

Never flirt with a crabby Lucy, unless you’ve got blonde hair and a purple and black striped shirt.
