You do have to choose your mark carefully, though.
Not that I have any practical experience with that type of thing, of course. (Not that anyone can prove!)
I occasionally enter a room and announce: “I have travelled here from the year 1967 to ask… do we have any potato chips?” I really have traveled from 1967 — It just took a really long time.
