Buy it to small. She’s just gonna exchanged it anyway. Now she has a good excuse.

My ex bought me a dress for xmas one year. I liked it but it was 2 sizes too small. I tried to exchange for a larger size but they didn’t have one. He didn’t believe me and thought I just didn’t like the dress. I liked it more than I liked him.

Oh, so THAT’S why December 26 is the busiest day of the year in stores – “I’m returning this dress; it’s labeled as being my size, but it’s actually three sizes too small”

My ex didn’t mind buying me clothes. I was a size 5 – clothes, shoes, rings. Easy to remember.

There should be a special service for buying clothes that fit and have altered size labels. :)

I just now started wondering who shopped for my Dad’s gifts for Mom, after I moved out of their house.

I looked in the closet for the size of her favorite clothes. Then hope I was right.

The only reason to buy your wife something that’s three sizes too small is to hear the exasperation in her voice at your utter cluelessness, as she speaks those magic words: “Don’t you ever go clothes shopping for me again!” Then you’re off the hook for the rest of your life.
