Online Restaurant Review Leads FBI To Unforgettable Insurrectionist With The Most Gawd Awful Sweater

Thomas Patrick Hamner was arrested Tuesday, according to court documents, and charged with federal counts of civil disorder; assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers using a dangerous weapon or inflicting bodily injury; entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; and engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds.

According to the court documents, Hamner was wearing a sweater that said “Guns Don’t Kill People, Clintons Do” while he was at the Capitol on Jan. 6. He was captured on video multiple times as the rioters worked to breach barricades police had put up around the Capitol before many stormed inside, according to investigators.

Those videos show the man alleged to be Hamner fighting with Capitol and Metropolitan Police and working with others to push a large metal “TRUMP” sign into the line of officers trying to keep the barricade on the Capitol’s West Plaza in place, according to the documents.

Hamner allegedly used an image of himself at the Capitol — superimposed with former president Donald Trump — as his profile photo on the right-wing social media app Telegram. FBI agents traced the Telegram account to a phone number associated with both Hamner’s wife and a tiling business he runs in Colorado Springs.

According to court documents, at approximately 1 p.m. on Jan. 6, a crowd of violent rioters assembled on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. U.S. Capitol Police formed a line of bike racks to act as a barrier against the crowd. Officers fended off repeated attempts by the rioters to pull on the bike racks, either with their hands or with ropes and straps. Video footage depicts Hamner fighting with officers from the U.S. Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police Department

After tearfully begging for mercy, violent insurrectionist is sentenced to 41 months in prison

On Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, insurrectionist Scott Kevin Fairlamb, who was facing up to eight years in prison and $250,000 worth of fines for his part in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building in Washington, D.C., was sentenced to 41 months in prison. So far, this is the longest sentence handed down connected to the insurrection on the Capitol grounds. After his release from prison, Fairlamb faces an additional 36 months of supervised release.

Fairlamb, the brother of a Secret Service agent who was reportedly on Michelle Obama’s detail, took a plea deal in connection with his assault on law enforcement officers. The deal meant that Fairlamb would plead guilty to two counts: obstruction of an official proceeding, and assaulting an officer. Fairlamb cried in court before sentencing, telling the judge he had “nothing but remorse” for his “completely irresponsible, reckless behavior,” telling the court, "I just hope you show some mercy on me sir.” Judge Royce C. Lamberth only offered up to Fairlamb that “Had you gone to trial, I don’t think there’s any jury that could have acquitted you.”

Fairlamb was arrested after making evidence readily available to anyone with an internet connection. He did everything one can do to both break the law and be filmed doing it. He climbed up scaffolding as he attempted to break into the Capitol building; Fairlamb even took a video of himself doing it. He stole a police baton that then he used to threaten violence with; yes, he shot a video of himself with the baton as well.

‘Forrest Gump’ defense of ‘QAnon Shaman’ doesn’t play, prosecutors ask for 51 months

Jacob Chansley puffed out his chest, howled like an animal, and paraded his half-naked, horn-adorned body onto the Senate floor during the insurrection at the Capitol. For his obstruction to Congress’ efforts to certify the 2020 election, prosecutors have recommended a sentence of four years in prison.

he 33-year-old was among some of the first people to breach the building on Jan. 6.

Chansley “[riled] up other members of the mob with his screaming obscenities about our nation’s lawmakers and flouting the ‘opportunity’ to rid our government of those he has long considered to be traitors,” U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves and assistant U.S. attorney Kimberly Paschall wrote in the 28-page sentencing memo.

Leave No Witnesses: VP Pence’s staff angry they were shut out of their offices during insurrection

The House select committee investigating January 6 is interested in gathering information from at least five members of former Vice President Mike Pence’s inner circle, according to three sources familiar with the effort.

Among them is Pence’s former national security adviser, Keith Kellogg, who was subpoenaed by the committee on Tuesday and was with former President Donald Trump most of the day on January 6.

Multiple sources tell CNN that some individuals close to Pence may be willing, either voluntarily or under the guise of a “friendly subpoena,” to provide critical information on how Trump and his allies tried to pressure the former vice president to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

According to sources familiar with the discussions, some Pence aides are proving more willing to engage with the committee than previously made public.

According to one source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to an ongoing investigation, Pence’s team huddled in a loading dock, unable to access their offices, and started planning contingencies for a constitutional crisis and how to remove the president.

The access badges worked that morning before the mob entered the capitol, but once Pence was removed from the chamber floor, their badges no longer worked. Access was restored later that night after the threat was over.

Access had been shut off to the VP Office Complex and the White House as well during the same time frame. That is where the new information I have ends, however, I want to remind everyone of a few publicly available details

Trump’s ex-ambassador to Iceland revealed as an unqualified, erratic, paranoid, lying sadist

“Embassy staff were still recovering from what they described as a threatening and intimidating environment created by the former Ambassador. For example, staff reported to OIG multiple instances in which the former Ambassador threaten to sue departmental officials and embassy staff who expressed disagreement with him, questioned his wishes, or were perceived to be disloyal to him. In addition, many employees reported to OIG that the former ambassador threatened reprisal against employees who communicated with department officials in Washington while conducting their official duties.”

Gunter, a dermatologist from California, bought the appointment by showering the GOP and Trump with cash. In 2016, he donated $58,563 to several state Republican Party organizations, $33,400 to the RNC, and $5,400, the maximum contribution, to Trump’s presidential campaign. He also donated $100,000 to the Trump Victory PAC and $100,000 to his inaugural committee.

Gunter was not the only unqualified candidate for an Ambassadorship made by the Trump administration. This cabal of venal opportunists was unusually enthusiastic about giving Ambassadorships to big donors. The dismal list included a wealthy real estate developer, with no diplomatic experience, for the United Arab Emirates job. A position so sensitive it had always been filled by a trained diplomat. For Morocco, a deep-pocketed car dealer got the nod. And the nominee for Slovenia was the founder of an evangelical charity whose hobby was reposting false, far-right social media posts on Facebook.

Trump’s CIA director warned of ‘right-wing coup’ as White House tried to corrupt military

“We are on the way to a right-wing coup,” CIA director Gina Haspel told Milley after Esper’s ouster.

The firing had been orchestrated by a political appointee in the White House office of personnel, whose purge of anyone deemed insufficiently loyal to Trump had accelerated since the election, both Milley and Haspel feared they would be next on the chopping block.

“What was unfolding, though, was unique among coups,” Newsweek reported, based on the book. “Nobody really thought the disorganized and isolated Trump was capable of organizing anything. And the president didn’t have the support of the military or the CIA or the FBI, or any of the other national security agencies, perhaps, with the exception of the Department of Homeland Security, which had become embarrassingly partisan. Milley even remarked privately that a coup wasn’t possible because his camp had all the guns — a comment that was both comforting and chilling, one that showed how perilous the post-election period had become.”

‘Where is Kevin McCarthy?’ Gloria Borger shreds GOP leader’s silence on Paul Gosar’s ‘outrageous’ actions

During a panel on Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s “The Lead,” chief political analyst Gloria Borger tore into House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for his silence in the face of the violent anime fantasy tweet from Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) depicting himself killing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

“Where is the — where is Kevin McCarthy?” said Borger. “Where is he on this? This is outrageous. Even his own sister, Gosar’s own sister, called him a sociopath yesterday. I mean, where is the leadership of the Republican Party saying that this is unacceptable, that we can’t do this. That excuse is ridiculous. This wasn’t about immigration. We all know that.”

MAGA rioter arrested for ‘whacking’ police with a flagpole — after being identified by another suspect

Gregory Lamar Nix, 52, of Cleveland, is charged with engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds, civil disorder, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers with a dangerous weapon, among other charges.

The FBI report stated that “Nix is observed physically assaulting an (a Capitol officer) with the white flagpole Nix had in his possession. Nix is observed whacking Victim 1 with the white flagpole and thrusting and throwing the flagpole at Victim 1. Based on my review of the video, I believe Nix attempted to physically assault Victim 1 using the flagpole on seven occasions (and hitting him twice.”)

The officer “stated that the flagpole had struck him on the head during one of these assaults, and that, the next day, he had a knot on his head as a result,” the FBI stated. Nix is also shown wielding a black baton not matching the specifications of Capitol Police, which “may be Nix’s person baton,” the report said.

A court has rejected the former guy’s attempt to keep his communications, call logs, etc. pertaining to Jan. 6 protected under executive privilege. More subpoenas are being prepared for additional advisors. Meanwhile, people are waiting to see if AG Garland prosecutes those who have already been served with subpoenas and ignored them. If he doesn’t, a Congressional investigative committee will be stripped of all abilities to do its job.

Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell’s Relationship Is Rapidly Deteriorating

The relationship between former President Donald Trump and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) appeared to deteriorate further this week after the senator praised the recently passed infrastructure bill.

Trump issued a statement on Wednesday criticizing McConnell for supporting the bill and calling him an “old crow,” while McConnell again said that the upcoming 2022 midterm elections would likely be “about the future and not the past.”

The former president openly criticizes McConnell and the senator responds by saying his party should focus on the future, suggesting Trump is part of the past.

[insincere apologies for re-posting this, but it’s as relevant now as it was back then—just as Judas Iscariot, Benedict Arnonld, John Wilkes Booth, Donald Trump, and other traitors should ALWAYS be remembered with complete and utter contempt]

Senator Josh Hawley (Fascit, Mo.) sings:

When I was a punk folk had no doubt

I’d commit treason with my trademark pout

I did my level best to prove them right

When I told a mob of traitors to go out and fight

(When he told a mob of traitors to go out and fight)

And though the Biggest Lie was nothing but a ruse

They revolted just for me—also Trump and Cruz

(And though the Biggest Lie was nothing but a ruse

They revolted just for him—also Trump and Cruz)

Being less than modest, my own horn I’ll toot

I gave that mob of traitors my own fascist salute

And when that mob rampaged I quaked with fear

With a certain brownish discharge coming from my rear

(With a certain brownish discharge coming from his rear)

But in the aftermath I voted straight and true

In order to acquit Donald You-know-who(But in the aftermath he voted straight and true

Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, as we’ve maybe said a time or two, is an elitist who never stops complaining about the elites and an insurrectionist who even now pretends ignorance about what he was part of on Jan. 6. No, he told Axios, he doesn’t regret that fist-pump to rioters who would have killed Vice President Mike Pence had they found him. “I don’t know who came into the Capitol or not,” he said, all innocence. “If they did come into the Capitol and they violated the laws, they’re criminals, and they should be prosecuted — and they’ll get no support from me.”
