Been there. Done that. Nearly EVERY winter.
Familiarity breeds contempt.
Snow is always so pretty when it first comes but later on a PITA when it comes tomes time to shovel it!
Just have to March forth and get it done, Ben.
After a certain age Snow ( winter ) is not to be enjoyed just endured !
One good thing about being retired is that we don’t have to worry about the snow. Other than clearing a path to the bird feeders, we can wait for it to melt.
Seeing snow in March, is like seeing Christmas stuff at the stores, in October.
To paraphrase Ben Franklin, fish and snow really stink after 3 months.
Or Christmas tree ads in August
Not to mention the insidious base of a very slick sheet of ice.
For a friend of mine the transformation doesn’t take NEARLY that long
March 24th? Way too generous. I’d say December 26th.
Too true!
We got 18 inches of snow on March 1st a few years ago!
