Of course, unlike ol Al, I understand numbers, even really big ones, or small ones. And I understand RATIOS (omg) by which you can understand things in a piecemeal way. For instance $3.5 trillion is a tad more than $10,000 per person in the USA. Or about one sixth of the gross national product. Or a bit less than 4% of the world’s gross domestic product.

Why didn’t we grasp when Trump built up a $2.9 billion debt! The $3.5 trillion is the cost of the proposal without considering the revenue offset from tax increases. Although I don’t believe the plan will be a net zero, it will not net $3.5 billion in debt.

Only MAGAts would be stupid enough to believe the point this cartoon is trying to make.

The last Occupant accrued almost $8T in just 4 years, while this invests $3.5T over a period of 10 years, and results in dividends..

Why do reporting agencies always use terms that make progressive programs sound bad. It is not a spending bill, it is an investment in America bill.

The republicans are not for a kill everyone they don’t like bill, they are for Defense spending.

Conservatives are upset because they see that as money that should go into rich people’s and corporation’s pockets, instead of being “wasted” on people in the lower classes…

The Build Back Better Bill is now much smaller than this, despite the originators’ intentions.

It’s only 350 billion a year over ten years. I believe that is around half of the budget for the already outsized military complex.
