Well, she’s going to get her rest from volleyball and gymnastics. Boyd claims credit for getting her the sleep she needs.

I finally understand this story line….Chance could care less about a college scholarship but Kianna is all in, and desperately needs one.

P1- Banner week for EES. I must ask. Does she wash with Irish Spring? Manly yes but she likes it too.

Bad things happen when you THUMP the landing. Trainer School? WTF is that? Maybe they’ll take a chance on Chance and offer him a full ride scholarship. In four years, he can be back in Milford attending to injured Mudlarks in their perpetual quest for second in the Valley.

Oh no! At least now the poor child will rest!

P1 – Spelled Tsukahara wrong again? My theory of this being a generic ripoff of the move is more likely true now. And how the heck did she wreck her ankle? Her landing was barely off, probably would have only been an 0.1 deduction until she decided to sit down.

P2 – Kianna channeling her inner Corina. Coach Non-Mimi just stands there going, “duhhhhh, wha happa?”

P3 – Real Coach Mimi doesn’t seem to give much of a damn either. She’s losing her 5’0" volleyball player, I think they can survive.

Well, I’m glad I avoided going blowtop mad yesterday, as now it turns out my prediction of her getting injured did come true. But it wasn’t a broken leg like I hoped. (Well that sounds pretty bad.) But we can be looking forward to her blaming Boyd for not hypnotizing her into sticking the landing, which will continue the stupid logic we’ve been getting.

And speaking of stupid logic, a lot of that goes into creating the daily editions of Mopped Up Thorp!

Yes, I too am one of the army of snarler’s who called it with my Rolling Stones tribute, yesterday. I agree with MOP, her"thud" landing wouldn’t have affected her knee (ACL’s tear from lateral movement not straight legs.).

Is this whole story arc just a thinly veiled reference to Simone Biles, the stress, and the “twisties” (minus the volleyball of course)?

It’s just a sprain. She’ll be out two weeks tops. I too went to trainer school.
