Testosterone has a lot to answer for.

Hat-sized IQ’s seem to be the norm nowadays. But that’s because they have easy access to digital media. Take away the apps for idiots, and the world will become a different place. No better informed, of course, but quieter.

Funny, some comments after yesterdays strip were denigrated as sexist if they poked fun at the women’s role in poor relational communication. Yet today, when the butt of the joke is a Bubba, it’s all fine. Lighten up, some of you, it’s a comic strip and it’s fun, sometimes, to laugh at yourself too.

It’s not the testosterone that gets us in trouble. It’s all those nimrods who keep holding our beer. Stop enabling stupidity dudes. (Yeah, I know. I’m shifting the blame from the doers to the watchers unfairly. Isn’t that what we do now?)

Plenty of people full of testosterone are smart enough not to do stupid things. It’s the “bubba” culture and high school competitiveness that drives most of these terminal pursuits.
