“Dr” Rand Paul says they won’t approve Ivermectin because they hate Trump! The Death Cult continues to spread their message of death.

Got into a discussion yesterday with an Ivermectin pusher. He insisted “medicine is medicine”, no matter what. I pointed out that a single aspirin can kill at cat, and ibuprofen and acetaminophen are fatal to both dogs and cats. Imodium, Pepto Bismol and Robitussin are also too dangerous to give to critters. By the same token, some veterinary meds are dangerous to humans. At the end of it, I actually threatened to smack him upside the head.

Believe it or not, most scientists at the FDA and CDC are working in those organizations for the public good not for political reasons. They are also trained in science and to evaluate science and medicine. They make careful recommendations based on ALL of the available research. These findings and recommendations can change over time as new research is published. If you don’t want to follow their recommendations, then that’s your problem.

I’m probably wrong, but I see covid-19 as the worst virus we’ve had to deal with for quite a while. It takes a strong vaccine for a strong virus. So the vaccine is new and could be dialed in a bit.

Suppose we came up with a vaccine that ended all viruses for the remainder of your life. It would probably be so strong, few could take it without sever side effects. So we try to dial it in, water it down. But now you may catch viruses, but you have a much better chance of recover and won’t end up in the hospital.

I see our battle with covid-19 as near halfway to the end of virus cure.
