What’s wrong now? Looks fine to me. Too close to the chair? I said earlier; put the chair kitty corner in the corner, move the lamp a little, then the bookcase can be put next to the chair.

Next week, Bub will just sit on the couch drinking beer and eating chips. Betty will wonder why.

Just keep it up and the stupid thing will be too narrow to hold any books

Maybe it’s just not a very nice-looking bookcase.At some point in life people try to edit, to select nice things, the final ones they’ll have to live with till they die.

Too crowded. Maybe a bookcase there was a wrong idea altogether.

Or maybe it’s just one of those stereotypical jokes about women wanting to rearrange all the furniture the minute everything is finally “perfect.”

I pity any contractor working on their house…unless they charge by the hour.

guess she figured you would have to make a wide swing around the bookcase to enter the room. would have just cost her a couple extra steps that she could have added to her daily steps goal.

Need a new chair to go with it.

You can use it as an end table too.

Awkward to reach over the bookcase to the light switch. It would be entertaining to watch the wood grain on the right side continue to change, though.

Still too wide. Having a bookcase even with the wall is both ugly and creating a visual obstacle.

Count me in with the “I don’t know what the joke is” crowd. Hopefully we’ll find out tomorrow.
