    But it might be bite-y.

A friend of mine’s kitty ate a big spider. It bit her on the inside of her mouth and she died. I don’t know what kind of spider it was.

Showing my age, no doubt, but this reminds me of Annie Hall.

our cats would catch cicadas and bring them to show to us (they’d also catch mamushi, a type of pit viper, for us, but that’s a different story). the poor cicada would flap frantically in the cat’s clenched teeth as the cat stood there impassively. finally the cat would lose interest and chomp down, putting an end to the frantic flapping…

Spiders are creepy because they move too damn fast and drop down from their webs in a string. However, I trap them in paper cups and repurpose them to outside plants.

Here spiders are common. Most are not dangerous. Exceptions are the black widow and the brown recluse. Many people do not realize scorpions are spiders. The scorpions are not aggressive but, take it from me, the sting is very painful. Had a dog who liked to carry scorpions in her mouth. They never stung her until she dropped them and stated to push them around with her nose. Other than surprise and sneezing a few times, she had no reaction to the scorpion stings.

I currently live in the mountains of northern Arizona. I was bringing groceries in yesterday and a baby tarantula was on the door. It was a big baby. I found a shovel and moved it away from the door. I let my dog out last night and there was a full-grown tarantula on the patio right by the back door. My dog tried to play with/eat it. It ran off. I know they are good at keeping other bugs away, but I still hate them. I am moving back to Houston next week to be with my children since my husband passed away in July.

I used to be terribly afraid of spiders…. now I will yell at anyone that kills one!!! I will tale a glass and put it over the spider and then slide under a thin cardboard under to keep it in the glass, and escort it outside… one year in Florida there was one so big I couldn’t use a glass without chopping off it’s legs.. so I had to use a big plastic Tupperware container!!

Shouldn’t that be OMD (Oh, My Dog)? The BCN cats use OMC all the time, so wouldn’t dogs do something similar. Or am I reading to many comics these days?
