Seems pretty likely, even though it’s not … quite … a done deal … yet.

It appears that Joe’s experience in the Senate is paying off. He seems to know how to get things done!

This is actually the third sign of the Apocalypse! The first sign was Trump loosing the election. The second, Trump’s denial that he lost.

The Bill still needs to get through the House of Representatives and that is where the majority of the hardcore Trumpists reside that will follow his lead to vote against the Bill. Not to mention some on the Left who think the Bill doesn’t go far enough and may not support it as well. Time will tell how it all plays out.

While Trump blathers, Biden matters

I gotta admit in 2020 I voted for anyone who wasn’t Trump. In 2024, I’ll vote for anyone who is Joe Biden.

I’ll also use this to point out what an excellent artist Charles Schulz was. NOBODY else can draw Charlie Brown right. And Mike Luckovich is a very good artist. It’s amazing.

The Dems in the House will kill it within their own party, squabbling over what they want included, leaving the GOP looking progressive.

It’s never over until it’s over. Unless you’re Rump or the GQP. Even when it’s over they lie and pretend it isn’t over.

The punt is easy. Getting the ball between the goal posts requires skill and teamwork. The democrats in the House have neither.

One Republiclown was on the radio this morning, bitching that this all an attempt to show “bipartisanship”. Which is always to be avoided. As per the successful democracies in, say, Africa or Latin America.

It’s usually not that hard to get Congress to agree on pork-barrel legislation, because that means each of them can go back home and say, usually with a straight face and sometimes even honestly, “Look what I did for you!”.
