At least he was not wearing garters to hold them up as men once did.

I’ll allow it. The straps can cut into your feet and that old man skin doesn’t heal like it used to.

However, if he tries to go out in public like that, Liv will have something to say about it.

I’ve noticed a lot of young kids wearing socks with sandals. Is this their “statement”?

Ben was certainly a trendsetter wearing black socks with shorts. All the kids are doing it these days.

Ankle crew socks are very comfy with sandals. Just at home, though…..

My doctor has recommended that I should usually wear socks with whatever footwear, since with age, foot calluses build up, crack, and can become infected. Otherwise, keep grinding off the calluses. Just another old age issue, I’d not planned on.

Get over it, ya’ll. Nothing wrong with socks with sandals. Go find something actually harmful to your society to rail against, like rampant socialism, overreaching government, crappy ch1nesium products flooding the consumer market, stupid and dishonest elected representatives, social media censorship, …need to go take walk outside now, while wearing socks with my sandals.

Am I the only one whose feet sweat? I don’t see anything wrong with wearing socks and sandals.

Have any or the kids who mock socks with sandals, looked into a mirror ? I guess everyone has to get old enough to be embarrassed by their high school yearbook “fashions”.

If a guy likes to wear socks with sandals who the heck has a right to tell him not to.

Some day, Nathan you’ll have toenails that look like sh*t too — then you’ll start wearing socks with your sandals…

Maybe it’s just a Florida thing, but I have been wearing socks with sandals/crocs for decades.

We have a lot of sand around hear, which piles up on sidewalks in places. Without socks, the sand gets trapped between shoe and foot, causing sores and blisters.

Also, we have these delightful little seed pods blowing around – sand spurs. Basically tiny little balls with spikes all around it. Socks don’t prevent the pain of contact, but they do minimize it. And those nasty things can HURT.

So, I will continue to wear socks with whatever footwear I have, whenever I have to walk outside. Fashion is for fools.
