This actually comes close to way some things were taught back to me the 60s. They sure weren’t going to bring up things like the Tulsa Massacre in school back then.
Interesting aside, there was once only one Baptist Church, but the Southern bunch supported slavery, and split into the Southern Baptist Convention. Still around today, and not much changed.

GWTW depicted utopia and how the North destroyed it. Life was once so gracious.

Remember that “Song of the South”, a Disney movie was once banned for it’s depiction of a “loving, caring” South.
I believe it is once again available for sale in the U.S. – zip-a-de-do-da!

And we all know who’s singing from that hymnal these days, don’t we? What, you say you missed it? Here’s a little refresher:
American Political Parties in a Nutshell
Democrats
Platform: Do all we can for the good of the country.
Motto: The will of the people shall be the law of the land.
Republicans
Platform: Do all we can to destroy the Democrats.
Motto: It’s OK if a Republican does it.
Libertarians
Platform: Do whatever the hell you want.
Motto: Good luck.
Greens
Platform: It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature.
Motto: Kumbaya
Constitution Party
Platform: Whatever we think (today) the Lord God Jesus requires of his faithful servants.
Motto: Same goes for you heathens, heretics, and blasphemers, too!

“The United States is the greatest, indeed the only, country in the world,” is far more insidious and ubiquitous.
