Well son I don’t unlock the house doors for anything less than $50, unless of course I factor in the family discount, but if you want to do things on a professional basis…

I got a $1/week for mowing the lawn and doing dishes. And a smack upside my head for NOT mowing the lawn or doing the dishes.
Sure kid, of course you’ll have to walk the mower down to the gas station, and fill it with some of that.
Tell him it’s something he can do to repay you for feeding and housing him. If he doesn’t like those conditions he can be grounded until he does.
