Weird that Ramirez drew this, since he supports the folks who are attacking the constitution. Mind you, he’s also lying about the Democratic response.

I do not think the infrastructure plan is duct tape and paint. Honest to God construction and repair. Real jobs doing much needed work. Whereas the other subject only brings obstructions. Isn’t that correct, mitch?

If only there was some code, like a building code ……..

Hammurabi’s Code was one of the earliest written codes of law in recorded history. Several of the laws pertained to the built environment: 229 If a builder builds a house for someone, and does not construct it properly, and the house which he built falls in and kills its owner, then that builder shall be put to death.

Considering the Republicans did all the damage, does Ramirez have the right to criticize the Dems for trying to fix it by any means possible? (no).

Aware that they are the minority party, Republicans have long engaged in a divide and rule/wedge issue strategy, reaching a new low with their current cult leader. Say what you will about Democrats, they make some attempt at working for the good of all.

This cartoon did not make a specific comment about the left or the right, the Republicans or the Democrats, it did however make a point, and correctly so about the division that is causing are constitution and America to crumble much like the collapse of the Surfside condo in Miami Florida. Why are the leftest comments so quick to blame the right, for something that they along with right are particularly responsible for. The crumbling infrastructure that holds this nation together can only be fixed if both sides come together and solve the problem together. So stop the blame game, it doesn’t help any more than duct tape or free money.

Ramirez is keenly aware that the GOP Leadershit has been THE LEADING & SOLE behind-the-scenes corrupter of American Democracy since the end of World War II, so his deceitful inclusion of Democrats (see above) as complicit architects in the GOP Leadershit’s complete mastery of the virtual seditious political and economic depravity has two goals: (1) to tar Democrats with the same brush the GOP Leadershit and the then nascent corpocracy have embraced & wielded for 76 years and (2) to dilute the GOP Leadershit’s obeisance to the now fully developed Frankenstein Monster we know as The Corpocracy and the 1%, while damning the best interests not only of us, the 99%, but also of the best interests of our nation, our republic, our Democracy. May the GOP Leadershit, The Corpocracy, the 1%, their so-called champions, sycophants, and lickspittles, and their individual benighted supporters each roast in Hell for an infinite number of eternities.

To Concretionist: Real Republicans DO support the words IN the U.S. Constitution. Read it sometime. You might find the Federal government, [with the help of leftist Supreme Court Justices, who rule pretending it says what they think it SHOULD say,] have let the Federal government take over many things that WEREN’T enumerated. Such as un-elected EPA bureaucrats [‘regulating’ with the same force as laws written and passed by Congress,] say a rain puddle on a farm is a ‘navigable waterway’, and block the farmer from tilling his land; Or, when a farmer wants to dig a pond to catch run off fertilizer, to keep it from getting into streams, the EPA won’t ‘approve’ it! Or, elected Democrats [whose brains have been cretinized by believing ‘climate alarmists’] pretend carbon dioxide is harmful, and write laws saying: ‘fossil fuels’ burned cleanly should be ELIMINATED to “save the Earth from burning up”. [Which will destroy the economy of the USA; The standard of living of anyone who gets paid less than these same cretins, will be destroyed too!]

so it seems to me the constitution may have some of the seeds to our problems right within it. the Mal-formed senate, something Ben Franklin didn’t want at all, is leading us down the same tired old path taken before, “stimulus” pork spending and protection of the wealthy by ignoring our national debt at the same time.

Funny thing, the nations that practice democratic socialism in Europe are routinely in the top ten of the freest nations of the world and of the happiest nations of the world. I wonder what they are doing, given their so-called Marxist commie governments (at least according to Ramirez and Republicans)?

“A day in the life of Sue the Trump supporter…Sue gets up at 6 a.m. and fills her coffeepot with water to prepare her morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With her first swallow of coffee, she takes her daily medication. Her medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to insure their safety and that they work as advertised. All but $10 of her medications are paid for by her employer’s medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance – now Sue gets it too.She prepares her morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Sue’s bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry. In the shower, Sue reaches for her shampoo. Her bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for her right to know what she was putting on her body and how much it contained.Sue dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air she breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air.She walks to the subway station for her government-subsidized ride to work. It saves her considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.Sue begins her work day. She has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Sue’s employer pays these standards because Sue’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union.

If Sue is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, she’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn’t think she should lose her home because of her temporary misfortune. It’s noon and Sue needs to make a bank deposit so she can pay some bills. Sue’s deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Sue’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.Sue has to pay her Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and her below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Sue and the government would be better off if she was educated and earned more money over her lifetime.Sue is home from work. She plans to visit her father this evening at his farm home in the country. She gets in her car for the drive. Her car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards. She arrives at her childhood home. Her generation was the third to live in the house financed by Farmers’ Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification. She is happy to see her father, who is now retired. Her father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Sue wouldn’t have to.Sue gets back in her car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn’t mention that Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Sue enjoys throughout her day. Sue agrees: “We don’t need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m self-made and believe everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.”- Kay Dee

Why did that building in red state Florida fall and kill 159 people?

Don’t they have any infrastructure rules there? There were pictures of the deterioration under the pool. Repair people said it was too dangerous to work on. In any normal state that would be a red flag, but Florida politicians don’t care about human life, just look at their covid policies.
