If she’d cooked anything else he’d have been perfectly happy to just show up to the table with no effort made on his part. But because she used the grill…

You can’t leave the table until you finish what’s on your plate, Bub.

Grill some meat and YOU fixed dinner … except for the salad, side-dishes, beverages and dessert.

if you make him feel insecure about his manliness like this he’s probably going to need buying a big gun, or a pick-up truck, or both.

I remember when my parents gave my husband and me a counter top indoor grill. The first time I wondered: it’s in the kitchen, so it’s my territory (by choice), but it’s a grill, so it’s hubby’s thing. I think it took 30 seconds before he elbowed me out of the way.

I was decent on the grill, but my wife was much better and I was better than her in the kitchen, especially baking, which she was just not good at.
