I truly fail to understand. Even when I hear young people explain why they’re not getting vaccinated, it just sounds INCREDIBLY self centered and dumb. And folks who decide to be fired rather than get vaccinated? Not even sane, much less smart.
Truth in commenting: Spouse and I spent HOURS online in February trying to get vaccinated, so our worldview is quite unlike those other folks.
PS: All the grandkids but one have gotten vaccinated (19 to 32 years old)… and all the kids and their spouses too. And the one who has not is one of those people who always has 130% of what’s possible to get done on her “todo” list.
A microcosm of our times: a Florida county shuttered its main administration building after several employees contracted COVID-19 and two people died. The only person not contracting COVID was innoculated. Go figure.
Of course the tRumplicans will say Biden failed when the magic number isn’t reached by the Fourth. Interesting how their refusal to get a free and safe vaccine will translate into failure on Biden’s part.
Unfortunately, we’re being help back from the 70% mark by the younger set that considers themselves to be invincible. I hope they are, for all our sakes.

Hard to believe that so many Americans favor fear and disinformation over science.

There will be another wave, this one of the more dangerous variant. I’m going to get a booster shot and wait for Darwin to take care of the rest.

You can show republicans facts and studies and truths, but they will deny them.
