Where did that spear come from? We can see (barely) most of it at panel 1, but Tarzan did not have it in possession before.

I’m pretty sure a bear could outrun even Tarzan.

Can you skin grizz, Tarzan?

Uh oh. I think I left the car keys in my other loin cloth.

Fortunately, the boy poison-tipped his spear, and Tarzan’s chances of survival are much greater than they would be otherwise!

Do you all remember that, in the Tarzan movies, his son was named “Boy”? ☺

If it’s black, fight back. Tarzan must be betting old, couldn’t get a kill shot in.

Great artwork today with an excellent perspective in panel 2 of Tarzan letting loose that spear which apparently has not slow that bear down one bit!

In the space of the bear moving 15 feet, Tarzan shoots 3 arrows and hurls a spear. Are we sure that’s not a bear-sized sloth?

Resilient bear has deep layers of fat….

The bear was wanting something to eat and Tarzan wanted to be wrapped in a warm bear skin. Both got what they wanted.
