The GOP Leadershit has persuaded descendants of Colonial Age immigrants to betray the goals of their forbears who fled religious persecution to found our nation, our republic, & our Democracy. These complicit, unrepentant, turncoat prodigal sons and daughters want to ESTABLISH a state religion based on THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS & TENETS vis-à-vis abortion, birth control, sex education, prayer in schools, LGBTQ human rights, same-sex unions and DENY the free expression of any conflicting RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND TENETS under penalty of law.
The GOP Leadershit and the witless, gullible, fanatical religious right, aided and abetted by bought-and-paid-for SCOTUS (so-called) Justices, are well on their way to gut our 1st Amendment rights and, in the process, impose a combined corporate/theological government à la Saudi Arabia, Iran, and similar barbaric theocracies masquerading as civilized societies.
