Now we’re seeing more results of I/Eye’s corruption. If an insane Topsider doesn’t manage to kill a fellow Topsider immediately but only punctures the suit instead, the transformation to monster anthro is fairly quick. Terrence is probably correct in assuming there are a LOT more monsters running around this Topsider community.
It’s interesting to note that Terrence’s suit auto-adjusted in size to fit his new peacock form, whereas the monster anthro’s suits are tattered remnants. “Endtown physics” to illustrate sane and insane, or a byproduct of the anthro transformation process? Good transformation = a better wardrobe, bad transformation = a rags-n-tatters fashion statement.
Their time is limited….overall central Topsider command is probably well aware of this colony’s situation. Containment protocols may be already activated. The drone in route to cleanse the problem.Their only way out may be a gate jump if there is enough power to open a gate.My guess would be back too the big room where they saw Tuffy’s brother, Holly, and the burger. It may be their only way out as it’s power came from them.

it’s rare, but some mutants manage to maintain their sanity in this state, we’ve seen a few of them in the earlier part of the comic. I would like to see at least one person who looks like a monster but is still a person here, BUT knowing the personality types of your typical topsider I don’t think any of them would be able to maintain sanity through this process, it would be hard to argue they were actually sane before this.
