I have a son who works with someone who had a family member who died of Covid-19.

Some of these crises are actually worse than most folks remember.

It’s another symptom of the failure of the school system to teach logic and reasoning. It’s why fear of a respiratory disease resulted in a shortage of toilet paper.

The pipeline has already reopened. Now we need the infrastructure bill passed in order to tackle the problem of hackers disrupting our wifi.

GQPs are mad at Biden because he didn’t regulate that private pipeline company hard enough to force them to become impenetrable to Russian hackers… and they’re also mad at Biden for calling out those Russian hackers…

Cyber attacks are easily foreseeable, then show them in tele-plays all the time. Why use programs and systems that are accessible to infiltration. Did we learn nothing from “Independence Day”.

Then again, PC’s cannot operate with Apple or android systems, etc, and here we had earthlings access an alien computer program system.

How many people ended up torching their cars because they were hoarding gasoline by transporting it in plastic bags in the trunk?

The only reason I keep checking the news, is I don’t want rating to get so bad, that they’d really prefer another nightmare president to the relative stability we have now.

It’s a symptom of the short-sightedness of capitalist practices that have corporate executives decide that paying a ransom to get their data back (and allowing the “little people” suffer because of it) is better than spending the resources necessary to harden their systems against such an event.

If you hate what is going on in the current version of the Republican Party today, please get active and get a huge number of people to vote in 2022. GOP is always a minority party.

I have dozens of friends who had to wait in gas lines or decided to just stay home until the crush was over.

If Deering is trying to claim the crisis did not exist or was not serious in the short term….well, that’s just stupid. Is he cranky because Joe got blamed? Too effin’ bad. The man in the Oval Office takes the blame for stuff that happens on his watch.

Silly MAGAts. People were told not to hoard gas, not to make a run on gas stations, because things will get back to normal too soon. So many people didn’t listen. Some crisis. People did it to themselves.
