In Al’s reality, people are perfectly willing to work for 10 cents an hour and pay for their own health care, so no need to have anyone unemployed. They also employ children because they work cheaper and enhance the family income.
Unemployment “stimulus”? I’d fall off the couch laughing that Mr. Goodwyn and others think people are refusing to work to keep get unemployment checks which don’t even cover basic necessities of life except that some do believe it.
Today’s Conservative want you to believe Americans don’t want to work a job when unemployment benefits are getting them close to $600/week. That’s $15/hr. folks. They don’t want to talk about how employers are asking workers to come back and work crappy jobs for $7.50/hr. or in many cases work for tips. Meanwhile, corporations that can afford $15/hr. are trying to automate their respective industry and kill jobs. So yeah, lets focus on the unemployment benefits.
So lets just not think about putting folks in work, let’s just let the whole show go to poop and pay for it through welfare? Because if you think business (whose main concern is profits for shareholders), will assist, I have news for you Al, my boy.

He’s going to need to bring the taxes on income over 400,000 / year up to almost the level that they were before the Trump tax evisceration.
It’s really annoying when someone like ol ‘Al who absolutely HAS to know things like this: It’s his JOB to know such things… chooses to lie.

Like the GOP used deficit spending to fund tax cuts for the wealthy? At least Biden’s trying to so something that helps ALL Americans.

Anyone opposing the tax increase is protecting the rich. Don’t be fooled.

Why bother to comment? Goodwyn will just come up with something just as stupid in his cartoon.

Sure, stimulus packages are “terrible” under Biden although they were “great” under Trump…
