I read somewhere that John Lennon said he hates the kind of morning radio parodies of his songs. Because most Beatles songs bear his co-writing credit whether he wrote it or not, you’ll rarely see an officially approved Beatles song parody. Appearances like this are as close as you can get.

I see what pointy nose dad’s problem is. He’s laying down instead of lying down like he should be doing.

I think those lyrics are as good as the original. Makes as must sense.
