NOW it makes sense. God invented golf. It is just the sort of thing God would do. Make a beautiful place where everybody can go but only a few can stay and where the rules are clear and the tasks easy to do but wicked hard to do well. The few who do it the best are honored but in the end really accomplish little of substance.

Well, he is a holey man.

God gets a score of 18 in a full golf course.

Not to be contrary, but, if they are playing in clouds, how can anyone tell whether He gets a hole-in-one, or not?
