I’ve heard the TV argument before but how does a medium with a destructive playback mechanism qualify as non-lossy?
A snowy analog tv signal is easier to deal with than the pixilation and freezing of poor digital signals.
Dave Morey, thirty year morning DJ on KFOG, called it “the warmth of vinyl” when he played something from an LP that he couldn’t find on CD.
I was really good at adjusting the fine tuning dial on the TV, and getting the rabbit ears just right
That was the last technological thing I was good with
Dad had me reach behind the tv and twist the stem tab to halt the rolling picture..
