Bernie get 150 years in the slammer for gipping billionaires and dies in prison. A man murdered a woman, raped a child and is a confirmed pedophile, yet he was released early from prison because he MIGHT catch covid-19.

I guess gipping the uber wealthy is a REAL crime. Not saying Bernie should not have been imprisoned, but come one, defrauding the 1% cannot possibly be as bad as murder, rape and pedophilia.

Madoff basically ripped off mostly rich and greedy people. Guess what! No one legitimate is going to earn you 25% on your money year after year. Someone poor and ignorant of basic finance might be excused for not knowing this, but not most of his victims. This is one of the very rare instances where someone wealthy suffered any consequences, and from what I understand, Madoff actually experienced guilt for the damage he did and did not attempt to fight his charges in court.
