Remember “Field of Dreams”—“If you build it they will come”? The same thing can be said of anything built for a specific purpose. So, if an assault rifle is built with no other purpose except to kill a whole lot of people in a few seconds, then “they will come” and use it to kill a whole lot of people. Every tool is meant to be used, we should not be surprised that that particular “tool” is being used … what should surprise and appall us is that those tools are still being made and put into the hands of unstable, murderous people.
…and to think the NOT SO SUPREME .COURT is taking a case to EXPAND THE SECOND AMENDMENT….Where does it end! How many more lives must be lost? How can the GOP be so cruel, greedy and have no compassion AT ALL? These so called shell- of -a -man party, of an empty suit brigade, need to be bitched slapped into reality! They’re inhumane and they’re IN THE CONGRESS! Unless something happens to someone in their family or to them, they will continue this blatant “hard core THEATER” as slimball Cruz would say.
It’s way past time to ban most guns and large clips and require serious background checks coupled with an application of why you want a gun plus at least a 30 day waiting period for proper background checks.There then needs to be a 90 day trade in for cash, for all non approved guns. After this time limit anyone caught with an illegal gun will face not less than 5 years in jail. File this as: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Thoughtlessness and prayers to an imaginary invisible guy in the sky doesn’t really work!
