Actually it makes me think of the line during the Vietnam War that “Peace is right around the corner”. That went along with “There’s light at the end of the tunnel”. The Johnson and Nixon Administrations both made these optimistic pronouncements, as I recall. I think what they meant to say was “Around the corner there’s a tunnel…”, or “At the end of the tunnel there’s a corner”.
