Yesterday was Pi day; today is Ides Day. Great Caesar’s Ghost!

One of the big bonus points of where I live is that, usually, the snow shovels itself. (having fallen as rain). What Caulfield is ignoring: Frazz’s job isn’t “shovel snow” — it’s “keep the walks clear”.

I’d hate to see his room; he’s got a long way to leaving for college—maybe he’ll clean it then?

Ah yes! Snow in May is so Michigan…

Caulfield’s reasoning could be used by a procrastinator to put off shoveling snow all winter.

Does Caulfield live in Maine? If so, he might just as well have said “April.”

Denver just got dumped on.

Oklahoma has had major snowstorms in March.

Recall that they live in Detroit. Its going to snow some more there, maybe through April

All the snow we got last time is finally gone, but we are getting more today. This won’t stick around for long though and some folks will get away without shoveling it at all.

Weatherman is calling for 1"-4" heavy wet snow for us. Oh Boy!

Hate to be a joy killer but here in central VA it’s a sunny, dry 40° with maybe chance of rain later this week. I’ll take it over snow any day except the first day of snowfall. That I enjoy. Second day, not so much.

We are under a winter weather advisory, with 2-4 inches of snow forecast today.

Over the next several days the forecast highs are in the 40s so shoveling may not be necessary.

I think Caulfield is right. The weather in March and April has been known to be capricious.

It snowed in June once in Boise, ID!

Honestly, I never wait until the snow stops. If you do, you end up shoveling super heavy snow. Better to do it more often.

Reminds me of that bit of Household Wisdom from Phyllis Diller: “Cleaning the house / while the kids are still growing / is like shoveling the walk / before it stops snowing.”
