But… when she consumed the conical center… in order to create the fill-able space… she would have had the indignity of having NO whipped cream. So… her net “gain” is not as grand as it may at first seem. Unless she fed the conical center to Poochie, perhaps.

I object. The whipped cream is clearly IN the pancakes, not ON them. If anything, the pancakes are on the whipped cream.
Therefore, I rule in favor of Pee-Wee. Sorry, Poochie. He wanted it more.

If Nancy used real maple syrup from Vermont, the whipped cream wouldn’t be necessary.
If all Fritzi bought was that awful bargain “pancake syrup” that is mostly cane syrup and artificial flavoring, I don’t blame Nancy.
