Every pile of dirty dishes in every cartoon shows them piled up in such a way that a stray breeze could send them crashing to earth. Every cartoon!

IRL, I have a master’s degree and write for a local newspaper.

I also run a delivery route 2 – 3 times a week because the newspaper in question is short-handed and doesn’t have enough couriers.

Being “in charge” means that sometimes, you have to do the work of people lower on the totem pole to get the job done.

For seniors with old-people aches and pains…soaking in hot water is beneficial,,.at least that’s what I tell myself when I wash dishes.

Is Tia Carmen on vacation??? I can’t imagine her letting the dishes ever pile up like that.

Something I miss after virtualizing my library is relaxing my brain by reshelving books.
