Oh…. I think you probably left that poor rich guy with enough. Rich people (not counting lottery winners) rarely actually end up poor. They go broke, but they rarely end up poor. They always have back channels to more money.
I never really understood that giving it to the poor part. Not that I think it’s morally wrong, but wouldn’t the sheriff get suspicious when the peasants start buying things with gold coins and jewelry?
