And right on cue, along comes Steve Kelley to peddle a new spate of lies tailored to the new administration. No, Mr. Kelley, you obviously didn’t read the policies. Unless you make over $400,000 there will be no tax increases for you.

Biden, like other Democrats, has made clear his tax policy objectives: tax BREAKS for the working people and the middle class that is already squeezed by elitist corporate Republican welfare queens, and make corporations and the few richest elites at the top who already have the most pay their fair share — a reversal of the Republican policies of making the middle class WORK HARDER for LESS MONEY on which we pay a HIGHER TAX RATE, so they can WORK LESS (or not at all) for MORE MONEY on which they pay a LOWER TAX RATE on their investment profits (or none at all through loopholes, deductions, exemptions, exclusions, shelters, corporate welfare, Cayman Islands tax havens or just eliminating taxes on investment gains).

The real CLASS WARFARE is really all about the corporate feudal CONservative plan for REDISTRIBUTING middle class wealth from working people to the few richest elites.

In the words of Warren Buffett, the most successful investment capitalist of all time (but vilified by TrumpubliCONs for having the nerve to remember his modest origins and stand up for the middle class): “There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”

Yeah. The GOP spends like a drunken sailor and Democrats try to rebalance things. That is historically accurate, no matter how often the GOP lies about it. The Democrats situation is not made any easier w/ the pandemic and the fact that the national debt went up bazzilion-fold under the last gang’s mismanagement. So yeah, they are very likely to push taxes higher for the very rich and the even greedier. But, as I’ve seen elsewhere, if you’re a regular person, you don’t need to worry about Biden’s tax plan: Drive a car that costs more to fix than replace? Don’t worry. Have to budget to afford air conditioning? Don’t worry. Ever cashed in a little bit of your 401 K to afford medical care? Biden’s taxes aren’t your problem (you may have other problems though).

Yup. I sure didn’t expect Kelley to do a comic that made any sense at all.

Like for example, a cartoon about how Il Douche had NO PLAN WHATSOEVER for rolling out the vaccine to help fight the biggest health crisis in every American citizen’s lifetime!

Apparently, Trump arranged it so his kids can have president level security on the taxpayers dime. Not sure that’s legal, but apparently that was one of the last things he did. Proving once again, the Democrats are the fiscal conservatives.

    ”Poor Joseph Biden”

    Poor Joseph Biden

    Hoped something was hidin’

In the cupboard that Donald had left.

But when he reached in around,

To his dismay he soon found

That of things needed the cupboard bereft.

    .

So he made a long list

Of things that would be sorely missed

If not soon reordered and stocked.

But when he went to shoppin’ to buy ‘em,

    The Repubs mostly defied ‘im,

And Joe’s list of items was mocked.

    .

    The Rich were amused

    That the Poor felt abused

That supplies in the cupboard were gone.

As they wiped mouths and burped

From the funds they had slurped,

They were planning tax schemes shrewdly drawn.

Yes, bill the taxpayers. Let’s start with the rich guys and the large corporations who pay little to nothing, yet take advantage of government services and contracts.

Yep. After four years of running up the deficit into the Quadrillions, now the GOP notices. The “new and improved” GOP is screaming: “Hey, you damn Tax and Spend Democrats, stop all that spending!”. How caring.

The Republicans want money to go to the rich rather than the middle class because they trust those who were smart enough to become rich will manage the money well, working on the theory that they will “trickle it down”, and everyone will benefit. This is the standard Republican rationale for giving money to those who are already rich. Trickle down has never worked, as far as raising the standard of living, anywhere that it has been tried. And, it is completely illogical to believe that it ever could. If you are paying a guy to cut your lawn and he’s doing an adequate job, then you get a tax refund, do you raise his pay? Neither will the 1%ers. The only reason to spend more on hired help is that you need more workers to get the job done. The only way more workers will be needed is if there is an increased demand for product- in other words people are buying more stuff. The only reason people would be buying more stuff is that they can afford it. And, the only reason that they could afford more is that they are the ones getting the tax cuts, not the rich guys. Trickle down just gives the rich guys more money to hide offshore , or more money to buy more politicians to write laws so they have more money to hide offshore. If you want that money to stay in America, increase production, and raise everyone’s standard of living, trickle UP will do the job, not trickle down.

Tax those billionaires. Tax ‘em till they’re merely millionaires. Then keep on taxing ‘em so they never can hoard enough money to be billionaires again. If they won’t work for only millions, they’re lazy and should not receive any largesse from the government.

Allow me to point out Mr Kelly, the simple fact that the role of government is to provide for ALL the people. This means that all people deserve decent infrastructure, affordable health care, good public schools, hospitals, teachers, doctors and decent unemployment benefits. Now in this civics lesson, this requires money that the government is required to levy from ALL citizens, (yes especially the rich and corporate, who also benefit from government services) taxes. Now, government has to do this because greedy corporations and the super rich refuse to provide any of the above and further, either refuse to pay taxes, or are allowed to so decrease their liabilities through loopholes that they pay minimal taxes, placing all the burden on one class of people…..the working class. The lowest paid subsidise the wealthiest? See something wrong there Mister?

The country has more unmet needs than ever, thanks to the ruinous administration of the Vulgar Talking Yam. And always try to remember, taxes in America are among the lowest in the “advanced” economies. Which also has some bearing on all those unmet needs.
