Of the 15 months I’ve worked at the grocery store hauling carts, I’ve come across no sootis (as there hasn’t been much snow).

DillBros LLC™, who are everywhere, remind us: “Remember, Kids! Sooties are not the same as Snobunnies!”

Sootis are real: have you ever seen a shopping cart half-buried in a huge pile of dirty snow? The person gone and all that’s left is the cart? The evidence of a sooti-meal!

It does seem like Timmy Fretwork’s snowplowing exploits are overshadowing his banjo talents with the kids.

Soot sprites are real. Their existence is documented in My Neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away.

This is the current teaching paradigm. You prepare a lesson based on what you want the kids to learn but if you listen to them their concerns are usually way different, and that’s what you should address.

Wow! Dill finally says something other than “wow!” as he challenges Alice to match Petey to his brother’s exalted station in life as a cartherd!

Meanwhile, Timmy, don’t fret. They’re just normal four-year old kids….

You can find pictures of the people suspected of being snatched by Sootis on the back of rock salt bags.
