Minnie, the Wonder Dog, was very picky after her opposable thumbs magically appeared!

Women all start with just a salad. The true test is when you both have had too much to drink and order that big breakfast with over easy eggs, biscuits and gravy at 3:00 Am, then you can tell if ya gotcha a girl friend.

Any of us guys with full beards and mustaches – especially white ones – can testify to the perils of eating saucy Bar-B-Q ribs in public!

A feller might want to think that maybe folks are a bit judgemental – especially about what others will think. I once had a grandmother approach me in a restaurant, while I was eating fried chicken … which I stoutly maintain IS finger-food, along with corn on the cob and similar foods. She apologised for interrupting my meal, and then asked if it was OK with me for her to point me out to her daughter (a harpist about manners) and grand-kids as an example of someone who knew how to relax and enjoy what was on the table. I waved and nodded permission, and she returned to her family.

Moments later the kids all looked at me and grinned, and Mom scowled. My thought was that Mom needed to put on her ‘big girl panties’ and learn to deal with reality.
