Trump Disciple SKelley likes to include compound LIES in some of his cartoons, like today.

How, exactly, does “The Left” silence anyone?

And, what is it that “seems like the obvious truth”? Is that ‘obvious truth’ the thing where Biden is elected president?

    .

The Trump Insurrection Mob was not only not silenced, they beat a cop to death.

They. Beat. A. Cop. To Death.

    .

I guess SKelly and the other Trump Disciples are perfectly comfortable with that.

Because Freedom! Law&Order! And so Patriotic that they used the staff of an American Flag to beat the cop.

    .

Congratulations, SKelley. You helped all you could. And so did the Republican* Congressmen who provided reconnaissance.

You comic makes zero sense. It also misrepresents what those on the left have said, especially if you’re talking about the fake outrage about the election. Or the insincere call for “unity” after the seditious attack on the Capitol and democracy. As all courts require actual evidence on both the prosecution and the defense, I fail to see how demanding actual evidence is anything other than correct and just.

What on earth is Steve talking about. Facbook and Twitter court? Is anyone arresting the people from Parler? I am pretty sure breaking into the Capitol and killing a cop aren’t protected speech. But Maybe Steve supports killing cops now.

A trump disciple wrote a letter to my local paper complaining that there is no coverage of the “victim” Ashli. Saying the police officer that shot her should be arrested. She was in the armed forces, and took an oath to defend the constitution. She wasn’t a victim, she was a traitor breaking in a secured door. All of them are lucky they were not black, or there would have been more than one traitor shot and killed.

I watched the vidio of the traitor being shot. There were several police officers in front of the doors. The traitors were reaching in between the officers and breaking out the glass, not one officer tried to stop the traitors. Then the officers moved away from the doors, and the traitors started breaking more glass and trying to break down the doors. I couldn’t tell in the video if the traitor had breached the doors when she was shot, but she got what she deserved. I will say it again. If the protesters (traitors) were black, there would have been more than one killed. White (supremacists) privilege on display.

No “seems like obvious truth.” The obvious truth. Trump lost by 7,059,741 votes; Biden 51.4% to trump 46.9%. Period.

The left can hardly be heard in the US, and it’s been that way for well over a hundred years. The campaign to shut down and shut up the left has been so successful that most people don’t even know what the left stands for.

When caught with your hand in the cookie jar.. your first words should not be “Not Guilty”. Justice has become chess game with lawyers looking for loopholes instead of seeking justice.

Justice.. has become the best/worst self serving industry in America

We realized the Republican party was the party of sedition and destruction of our country when they refused to call witnesses in the first impeachment. In the face of overwhelming evidence of corruption and presidential violation of his oath of office, Republicans decided to cover for the corrupter in chief by refusing to call witnesses. That enabled him to set up what became his attack on the election. Republican leaders, including the minority leader in the House, signed up to carry the water for the president, challenging the results of the election. 50 state administrations, many of which are Republican states, certified the election results, yet Ted Cruz and others repeated the lie that the election had been stolen. More than 50 lawsuits challenging the election result, including two appeals to the Supreme Court, failed on their merits. Yet, the Republicans carried on, encouraging the Big Lie that the election was stolen. Even now the Republicans are trying to find ways to block the corrective actions the new administration is proposing to fix the problems the Trump administration has created. Is it not enough that Trump’s actions have resulted in the death of over 400,000 of our family, friends, and neighbors? Is it not enough that he encouraged a deadly attack on the Congress that was doing its constitutional duty to certify the election results? When will we say “ENOUGH!” to this cancer that is the Republican party?

Straw man much, skelly? Yes, ‘the left’ is a monolith, and we all mindlessly parrot empty slogans. Not like those free thinking intellectual giants of the RepubliCON party. Um, what was the Can Party platform last election? Oh, right. They didn’t have any platform at all beyond “Whatever t**** says”. Your cartoon is shallow and disingenuous.

The problem is “seems like” as it seems like even Skelley points out (probably by accident, since his target audience doesn’t like “nuance”). Actual facts are remarkably slippery when you get up close and personal, and that’s why we do need trials. And refereed journals. And demand repeatability.

In court, neither side can lie. It’s a pleading of a case which involves many things, and sometimes arrives at an actual truth. (All this in a perfect world.) Anyway, this is not even a false analogy, it’s not an analogy. It’s just anal.
