After moving my mom from Wisconsin to Florida where I had moved, I planned to take her there and Branson. We got to Branson, Andy Williams and the Lawrence Welk family, but we never made it to Graceland before she passed. Not on my list for sure. My older sisters were the big Elvis fans.
I’ve been in the area several times & never even thought about going to Graceland. The day after he died, I did buy a commemorative paper though & still have it.

I never been to Graceland – but I did go to his childhood home in Tupelo MS. I was 12 when he hit the scene.

I lived a large part of my life in Memphis and never went to Graceland. Tourists go there not locals.
