If Nancy was really smart she could claim it is not tic tac toe but naughts and crosses on the wall. Also instead of using a pencil stroke, she could obey the parental authority and use a paint brush stroke instead. These days parents got to be really world wise to outsmart their little kids!
I don’t know what’s more impressive—Nancy, aiming a soap bubble at the wall so that its dying mark will finish her game, or that the soap bubble has a tiny tic-tac-toe board in it instead of a window*.
* Windows have been a feature of soap bubbles since the discovery of soap. The actual invention of windows came when an unknown resident of Ancient Greece saw the image in the bubble and deduced the principle of a window. Being Ancient Greeks, they did nothing with this knowledge, apart from making a briefly popular children’s toy.
