I used to hold my breath from the last few seconds of previous year into the new year

I spend New Year’s Eve midnight in bed!

9:45 in bed reading to about 10:20, then off to sleep land..

There are very loud ‘ka-booms’ that wake me at midnight….

Only smart in the rural areas, in the city’s they have Tech that can track gunshots to half a block and the bullets have to come down somewhere, be safe.

Well, it’s his hibearnation time anyway.

I stay up late but can’t make midnight anymore!

We are on the West Coast, so the ball dropping in Times Square is just about right.

Yep, sounds about right. Asked my wife once if we should set the alarm clock for 11:58 PM to cheer the new year. She said don’t even think about it!

Not in a chair. We have been in bed a couple of hours before midnight shows up…..

Sitting in my recliner….glass of scotch in hand….warm cat in my lap….watching TV….

I worked night shift most of my life. I’ve seen more midnights than noon’s!

Recurrently dozing in a comfy chair in front of the TV is for any weekend, ever.
