Like all Trump Disicples, Lester does not research the details of any covid relief bill, only the top line price.

The contents of any bill are irrelevant to Trump Disciples, only that it was proposed by The Messiah, so it must be bigly, bigly beneficial. Especially with The Messiah being the oversight.

McConnell has blocked a House-passed relief bill for over 200 days and is still blocking the current relief effort because he wants to protect big companies from lawsuits when they fail to protect their workers.

There is still no relief more than a month after the election. It’s Moscow Mitch waiting for Putin give the OK.

Oh for gawdsake. They didn’t vote for the GOP “relief” bill which put MOST of the money into the hands of the ultra rich and included a clause (which is currently in the compromise bill) absolving any company of guilt if their employees died of Covid when there was a lack of protective gear or guidelines from said company. At the VERY SAME TIME, McConnell and his gang of thugs didn’t even allow the House bill to be debated. It was generally aimed at supporting SMALL business and workers and it was ready in (July? I’m working by memory here).

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. The House didn’t pass a bill back in May. Moscow Mitch hasn’t been blocking it from getting a vote in the Senate ever since. It’s all someone else’s fault.

On the other hand, this is one thing (one of the few things) that is not Trump’s fault. Ever since the bill passed the House in May he’s been saying he’d like to spend even more.

Can’t blame the whole Senate, either. The bill would certainly get a majority if Mitch ever allowed it to come to the floor.

This time it’s all on Mitch.
