You haters are funny it right from her mouth, she knew that what the house passed would never get by the senate. That’s the reason she changed it “since Biden got elected” from her mouth.
Like all Trump Disicples, Lester does not research the details of any covid relief bill, only the top line price.
The contents of any bill are irrelevant to Trump Disciples, only that it was proposed by The Messiah, so it must be bigly, bigly beneficial. Especially with The Messiah being the oversight.
no not American PEOPLE… you mean Corporations. Mitch refused and is still refusing to give anything to the PEOPLE… well I guess he compromised and decided to give the unemployed 600 bucks… that should help them stave off eviction for a few hours as long as they don’t eat.
McConnell has blocked a House-passed relief bill for over 200 days and is still blocking the current relief effort because he wants to protect big companies from lawsuits when they fail to protect their workers.
Oh for gawdsake. They didn’t vote for the GOP “relief” bill which put MOST of the money into the hands of the ultra rich and included a clause (which is currently in the compromise bill) absolving any company of guilt if their employees died of Covid when there was a lack of protective gear or guidelines from said company. At the VERY SAME TIME, McConnell and his gang of thugs didn’t even allow the House bill to be debated. It was generally aimed at supporting SMALL business and workers and it was ready in (July? I’m working by memory here).
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. The House didn’t pass a bill back in May. Moscow Mitch hasn’t been blocking it from getting a vote in the Senate ever since. It’s all someone else’s fault.
On the other hand, this is one thing (one of the few things) that is not Trump’s fault. Ever since the bill passed the House in May he’s been saying he’d like to spend even more.
Can’t blame the whole Senate, either. The bill would certainly get a majority if Mitch ever allowed it to come to the floor.

Correct. Mitch blocked it.

Mitch’s Plan: Enrich the corporations. Nancy’s plan: Support the people out of work. Naturally, Lester favors the former.

Hey, Lester. Congress passed a relief bill. It sat on Moscow Mitch’s desk for months.

I could do with less Lester but I am like a deer in the headlights. I like to see just how outrageous he can be.

There is still no relief more than a month after the election. It’s Moscow Mitch waiting for Putin give the OK.
