Hes hoping if he takes long enough she’ll load the dishwasher herself.

It’s faster than putting no items in the dishwasher every time he passes by

Here’s a better question: Why put the dishes in the sink, when you have a dishwasher?? Or am I missing something here??

I hate washing dishes, period!!!

My wife fills the sink with dirty dishes then complains until I put them in the dishwasher.

If you want it done another way, then do it yourself.

Be happy that he IS DOING some work, albeit very slowly…..

It’s called load planning.

Perhaps a better question might be, Peg: why are you standing there watching him do it instead of loading the dishwasher yourself?
