Wow. My feeling is exactly the reverse. Of course, I enjoy  cooking and eating (and tolerate the results), but standing in line for a movie or other show isn’t something I’m even slightly willing to do.

Got sick for a month after going to the movies in November 2017. Learned my lesson about crowds in enclosed spaces. Never went back and did not miss it a bit.

Where’s the person in line with no mask and a shopping cart filled to the brim, and the “I don’t care!” Look?

we are in the early stages of the 2nd wave, and STILL RW Govs refuse to do a wear masks in public order. Hell, even Texas did it. But here in OK, nope. Tulsa put out a mask ordinance a few months ago, cut back on new cases by about half. You would think that the various urbs around Tulsa would do the same, right? Wrong, biggest sub next to Tulsa, Broken Arrow,(pop 100,000+) says nope, not gonna do it. Because the entire state is full of trumpbots and by golly, they believe every word Trump utters. Even when he does a 180 within just 1 sentence. (I won the election, but the Biden Administration will likely make masks mandatory)

I don’t suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out). I can wait for the movie to come out on Blue Ray and watch it at the time I want, while wearing my sweats and sipping my wine and eating reasonably-priced pop corn and I can stop and take a pee break and not miss a thing. Also finding a place to park is never an issue and the line to get in is at most one other person (my wife – the dog gets in for free).

The Covid-19 Blues affect everyone a little differently. But he’s right. We’re already in the long-haul phase with no end in sight. Finding new ways to think about the problem might be the only way to keep his/her spirits up. As I have quoted before: Life ain’t no easy gig. You gotta find your own beat.

A rare and highly improbable lineup.. there is always at least one with a full cart in the express lane.

Must be a right winger still in denial, like that “Million” maga march that drew a 10,000 mask-less belligerent right winger covid spreaders to a city that voted against Trump by 87%

These few idiots who think they are a million, demand a recount of the votes because they don’t accept the count, you can’t make the crazy stuff right wingers do up.

One consumer to the other: I hear that billionaire Charles Koch said. “Boy, did we screw up !” for donating money to the Conservatives. So now I’m going to buy Angel Soft toilet paper and Brawny paper towels now that he apologized and admitted they were wrong. I’m sending them to Trump when he admits he LOST. . . .
