Hey Mikey, didn’t you get tRumpolini’s message!!! NO talking/sharing/printing any “stuff” about this Covid-19 thingy AFTER the election!! How DARE you defy the tRumpolini EDICT!!! You are hereby MANDATED to cease & desist ANY mention of this Covid-19 thingy evermore…STAT!!
To his credit, at least since I have started reading him, Mr. Ramirez has been critical of Trump’s COVID response. On almost everything else though I rather disagree with him.
But didn’t the Republicans say that Covid would magically disappear the day after the election was over? That it was just a Fauci/Gates scheme to make that poor victim Trump look bad? Republicans have no platform, no plans for the future; they only have ridiculous conspiracy theories. The tragic thing is that many people fall for that nuttiness.
Republicans spread covid all over our nation. The holocaust happened on their watch and they refused to do anything about it. All of those deaths rest squarely on Trump and his incompetent political party.
Isn’t it nice to know all those deaths are “fake news?” I daresay the surviving families take great comfort from that as well as from the knowledge that everyone is just so tired of hearing about “Covid, Covid, Covid. . . .” /s
Trump hasn’t attended a Covid task force meeting in months. Pence, who chairs the task force, is on vacation while daily case rates are hitting records and hospitals are swamped. It’s not the average citizen who needs to be reminded Covid is still a problem, Mikey.
This is why Il Douche should resign or be removed with the 25th Amendment. America can’t wait until January for leadership who is actually willing to do something other than complain about how Americans won’t shut up about covid and how many people keep getting sick and dying.
Election day won’t be behind us until Jan. 5th. Covid, at least a year. Trump’s herd mentality (human gullibility) will be around for as long as the Republican Party exists. By the way, Covid-19 is just a hiccup compared to the effects global warming will have on humanity.
Many people can multi-task what they worry about. That’s why so many folks wanted to vote (worried about the outcome) WITHOUT going to the polls (worried about Covid-19).
Trump says that “No one could have seen this coming” referring to the pandemic. Well, someone did. In December 2014, Obama warned the United States: “There may and likely will come a time in which we have both an airborne disease that is deadly,” Obama said. “And in order for us to deal with that effectively, we have to put in place an infrastructure—not just here at home, but globally—that allows us to see it quickly, isolate it quickly, respond to it quickly, so that if and when a new strain of flu like the Spanish flu crops up five years from now or a decade from now, we’ve made the investment and we’re further along to be able to catch it.” They sat up a White House Pandemic response team, which had clinics worldwide, including the area of China where Covid 19 originated. In 2014 during the Ebola outbreak, They helped create 15 treatment centers in that region, provided supplies, and conducted aggressive contact tracing to limit its spread beyond Western Africa. Only one person in the United States died from Ebola after traveling from West Africa to Dallas, Texas. To help the incoming administration be better prepared to fight future pandemics, officials under President Obama took what they learned from these battles and prepared a 69-page playbook.written by Obama’s National Security Council, which detailed strategies for responding to a potential pandemic. Outgoing Obama administration officials briefed Trump’s top aides on the potential dangers of a pandemic. But the Trump administration ignored the playbook Instead, spending weeks downplaying the virus, which they knew about in late December, spouting rampant misinformation and contradicting their own medical and scientific advisors. They wasted nearly two months needed to bolster the federal stockpile of critically needed supplies and equipment. By then, it was too late. Trump likes naming things after himself. This is one he has truly earned— The Trump Plague.

Ramirez, don’t forget to thank YOUR MESSIAH for dismantling the pandemic response structure.
And for His policy of never responding to the virus.
And you should be proud of your contribution to the 250,000 covid deaths.

President Biden and VP Harris already have a plan. If only Trump hadn’t been so damn lazy and incompetent. Now he’s just irrelevant.
