Took my dog for his morning walk yesterday. There’s 4 to 6 inches of snow here and it was a wet snow because the temperature was warming up. Our dog Casey is an Aussie/Great Pyrenees mix with long white fur and he loves the snow. I was watching him rolling in the snow along the edge of the field. When he returned he was so proud of himself because he had been rolling in bear crap. I had forgotten about the pile as it had been there a couple of months, but the wet snow must have softened it up and it was now ripe for the rolling in. I had to give him an outside bath with the garden hose….temp was about 40 degrees. Hewasn’t too happy, but neither was I, and I’m sure he didn’t learn his lesson.
