The GOP knows that the more people who vote the worse they do. And so, naturally, being more about “beating the enemy” than “helping the nation”, they naturally work as hard as they can get away with to make people vote less often. They do it by purging voter rolls, by making polling places as hard to reach as possible, by imposing insane identification requirements (waived for white people…) and by not counting “provisional ballots” even when they should. And of course, this year, by interfering as much as possible with voting by mail.

The more they try to take it away, the more we want it. Like most other things, the GOP failed psychology.

What else are the Republican’ts to do … they have no platform, no record of lasting accomplishments, no balanced budget, no COVID strategy, no healthcare plan, no way forward [only backward], and no love for their country and its people?

……..but we’re gonna save you. We have the best plan (none). We’re gonna save you from Obamacare and provide you with no healthcare at all. We’re not gonna require masks or social distancing. What’s the worst that can happen (DEATH)? Those Democrats are trying to take away your freedom (to get sick and die while killing many other people. We’re not trying to stop you “good” people from voting……just those “other” people!

There seems to be a Republican right to vote, but no Democratic right to vote. Just who do they represent, anyway? Us? Seems not.

In CA, the GOP put out “official” ballot boxes at churches, in gun stores, et cetera. They were hit with a legal Cease and Desist order yet they are defying it. All those ballots are going to be spoiled because no chain of custody was followed and no signature of the person delivering the ballots is present. You see what they did? It may backfire on them because the people most likely to vote in those places are their partisans. Talk about giving away the election.

The people we vote for are fairly straight forward (not necessarily optimum, but clear: this one or that one). For me, it’s the questions we vote on that are so convolutedly and manipulatively stated.

In Wisconsin it’s as simple as 1-2-3, beginning on October 20th, all I have to do is go to the city clerks office, request an Absentee Ballot, Vote, Return the Ballot to the city clerks office, I’m done. Everyone should see what their states voting process is.

“Vote for Me and as God is my Witness, soon you’ll never have to go vote again!” Donald J. Trump would approve this message. /s

People are waiting in line for hours to vote in person. The number of requested absentee/mail-in ballots is smashing records. As of last week, voters have already cast 20% of the votes cast in 2016. The American people will not be denied by the Poser-In-Chief and his boot-licking cronies in Congress.

About Voter Suppression:This a science vs uniformed belief election.Basic Physics: For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action,so the more they try to suppress the vote – the more the action to vote.

I’m among those who figured out how to get around the Republican maze blocking the ballot box. My ballot (and those of the rest of my household) has already been received by the authorites and will be counted at the proper time. So Nyah.

On the left the sign should read “Democrats Vote Here” and other side by the voting booth it would have a sign that read “Republicans Vote Here”.

The experienced rats have been running this maze long enough to know the path. To make it more realistic, there should be a time limit and a clock counting down.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to fix the “Republikan Problem” is not by expanding the Supreme Court (at least not immediately), but through comprehensive election reform. After all, even Republikans admit that if we actually had free and fair elections, they’d be out of power, perhaps permanently.

By no means a comprehensive list, but I think we need:- automatic registration upon turning 18 years old for all citizens.- non-partisan districting at both the congressional and legislative levels.- ending voter-roll purges via semi-passive measures like unreturned postcards; a voter remains on the rolls until election officials have proof that the voter is no longer eligible in that district.- similarly, challenging anyone’s vote requires the challenger provide proof of ineligibility, not require the voter to prove their eligibility.- Constitutional amendments clarifying that corporations and other group entities are not “people” and money is not “free speech.”- federal standards mandating sufficient polling places and voting machines for all districts in all states

    What else?
