It’s all the same, even without powdered flavoring stirred in.

Every time my family does “taste tests” between the three no one can tell the difference.

It depends where you live. Tap water taste different in different places, and if you live in a place where the network isn’t maintained or the water supply is polluted (Flint & co) better drink bottled water, as long as that doesn’t come from straight from tap water (yep, some do). I don’t like the taste of water anyway so I look at the contamination level as the real test.

    Distilled?

Well water where I am has to be pulled from deep underground – the stuff you hit first when drilling is the nastiest, filthiest water loaded with enough iron to make into steel. It costs more to drill that deep, but your plumbing, appliances, water filters and softener will be much happier. :-)

Love grandparents Frank and Dot holding the twins in the background! A small detail that really completes the scene.

Philadelphia is considered to have some of the best tap-water of any major American city. The trouble is, between the natural minerals and the chlorine, the water is often cloudy, which scares visitors who’ve never seen what is referred to as “Schuylkill Punch”.

Considering where the Cobb family is presumed to live, (The Fairmount neighborhood), they would all be very familiar with“Schuylkill Punch”.

Some minerals are hard to stomach. Fluoride effect on teeth was discovered while investigating why people growing up in an area tended to have few cavities. A common cause was determined,

(Lower doses provide protection without blackening teeth.)
