As a tall man, I have experience with that problem. An obstacle too short to get under but too high to be in one’s field of vision.

BeaR, did your hubby wear a wide brim Stetson/bumper hat, too?

My 6’2" older brother had that same problem, but he didn’t wear anything but a baseball cap, and your husband has a couple of inches on him.
