A while back I read a story of a man who found a piece of and old car from around 120 years ago. From that rotted wooden form he managed to rebuild a car that had gone extinct. He was lucky to find other parts and his research helped him find drawings for other parts which assisted in making new parts. Was it cheap? Probably not and the article didn’t say but he did it.
