The Federal government should not be funding state and local police. They should fund the USPS. That’s how the Constitution works.

Boo hoo. Reallocating funding that law enforcement received to ensure certain activities are properly resourced so LEOs can focus on law and order not mental health and social welfare calls is not a bad thing. Defunding the USPS so FedEx and UPS shareholders can profit should be the outrage. Look at the military; after three years of defense budget increases of billions of dollars, there’s a story out saying Defense Dept. is struggling with funding increased personnel costs for pay raises, healthcare, military dependent programs, and education. $716B in last budget, so where is all that money going towards if not to ensure personnel growth of our military?

Those must be “Federal” police officers (which don’t even exist), if they were funds that went to the Post Office. (Which hasn’t happened, the funding bill only passed the House in an emergency session last weekend).

Maybe now we can go a week without someone getting killed unnecessarily…
